Is this legal?
Emulators are legal. Downloading ROMs of games you don't own generally is not. Only load backups of cartridges you own. The only games hosted here are on the Game Shelf: free homebrew titles whose open-source licenses allow sharing.
How do I get a ROM of my own cartridge?
Use a cartridge dumper (for example a Retrode or similar USB reader) to back up games you own to a .sfc file.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The game runs entirely on your device.
Do saves persist?
Save states and in-game saves are stored in your browser. Clearing site data removes them.
It's slow or won't start
Use a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Close heavy tabs. On phones, landscape works best.
